Retainer Agreements prepared by Ontario Law Firms must contain specific provisions
Practice of law in is a highly regulated in Ontario, and for that reason most documents that are exchanged between law firms and their clients must comply with very specific requirements.
This applies to Retainer Agreements signed between law firms and their clients, Statement of Trust Accounts, bills and Invoices.
Main reason for this is to achieve transparency, and save both clients and law firms unnecessary, and potentially costly disputes. We will be adding such documents to our site as they will become available.
