We want our visitors to be fully aware of the personal information we collect through our website Please see below how we collect, use, disclose and manage your personal information. When you send us personal information you consent for us to collect and use this information, as our Privacy Policy. We will never use your personal information for any purpose other than providing you with our legal services and conducting our business.  Your information will never be sold or exchanged for any type of profit to any parties, at any time.

What type of information we collect via this website

At this time we collect your information in two ways. First, its information that you submit to us via our Contact Form or/ and our Consultation Form. This information is necessary for us to provide you with the initial legal services. *Please note that we ask for you not to submit any sensitive information via website. Sensitive information includes copies of government issued IDs, banking information, propriety documents, financial statements, corporate documents, etc. 

Second way we collect your information is via Web server logs and through cookies. This information is collected passively by our platform host and is used to improve user experience while browsing our website. 

Who will have access to your information

Lawyers, staff and third party service providers will have access to your information. 

How your information is safeguarded

We take a great caution in handling your personal information. Our website is using an HTTPS  communications protocol.  HTTPS is a  connection encrypted by Transport Layer Security. Depending on the browser you use, you will notice either a small lock sign or letters //https: right before This is found in the browser address window, on the top of your browser page. 


HTTPS ensures that this website is owned by Tamir Litigation Law Firm and that privacy and integrity of the exchanged data is protected via encryption. When your information is stored, it is protected by several lawyers of security features which are in compliance with the guidelines of the Law Society of Upper Canada and with the current security protocols. Most of our third party service providers are located in Ontario and hence are subject to the same privacy laws. Occasionally we may have to retain a provider outside Ontario , and in this case we will be informing you of privacy obligations in that jurisdiction. 


Internet and web service providers are located outside Ontario and are signatory to  EU-U.S. Privacy Shield & Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Disclosure.  They participate in and has certified their compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework.  To learn more about the Privacy Shield Framework, visit the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Privacy Shield List.[]

How long your information will be stored

As per Law Society guidelines, your information will be stored for 15 years since the date your file has been closed. 

Changes to our Privacy Policy

In case we will be planning to introduce significant changes to our  Privacy Policy, we will notify our users  in advance and will ask them to consent to such changes. Significant changes include a new arrangement to share personal information with a third party, or using personal information for a new purpose.

iwe may be required to disclose your personal information to a lawyer representing our Firm;

ii. to collect a debt the individual owes to our Firm;

iii. to comply with a subpoena, a warrant or an order made by a court or other body with appropriate jurisdiction;

iv. to the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) as required by the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act;

v. to comply with a governmental requests as authorized and required by law;  

vi. to another organization or third party in instances where it is reasonable in connection with a business transaction, audit or/ and insurance purposes

vii. in an emergency threatening an individual's life, health, or security (the organization must inform the individual of the disclosure).

The server  platform  has also been audited and certified as ISO 27018 compliant.
